I hope all the features of IOS 5 will be supported on Iphone 4. I am in a 2 year contract right now and will have to wait till Iphone 6 comes out to get a new handset.
I know I can sell my current iphone 4 and get the iphone 5, but if all the features of IOS 5 be supported on iphone 4, i wont bother. Its too much hassle lol.
Then again what are the chances of Iphone 5 being a speed bump like 3G to 3GS?

Updated the EFI and the beast is moving faster (I did'nt hear any loud fans), SMC was already updated so I didnt need to download it.
But I dont see the other Hard drives; can u point me to a link that has the information?

What is the difference in price on the movies sold on iTunes compared buying the DVD itself?
If it is like 5-10% (1-2 bucks) I dont see why they are complaining but if the the defferences is $5+ I can understand why target is complaining and the threat is a good threat. It is not fair to have that large of a difference in cost.
I might like to add that places that sell the DVD are only making 2-3 bucks on the DVD they sell.

Yeah, only a couple 1000 25MB pictures would fit on a Ipad 64GB, not near enough. :rolleyes:
Well lets see by my current usage that is 2 weekends worth of shots since i fill up 4 8GB cards. And who would imagine i would want access to all of my pictures or at least a months worth at a time and other things like apps, music and videos. :rolleyes:

I have to agree with most here that Pages didn't live up to my expectations. However, I can't agree with you that Word has been perfected. Word is complete nightmare in certain situations. Its non-intuitive and not very user friendly in many cases (especially the windows version!). I do prefer it to Pages, but its by no means the best that can be done.
Keynote on the other hand is fantastic, and considerably easier to use and prettier than Powerpoint.

But why can't Apple come out with something that can actually compete with this age-old word processing app, which many of us Mac users seem to have a love / hate relationship with?
Strange how Apple can make an ingeniously simple and easy-to-use interface for a video editing program like iMovie, but cannot with something as simple as a Word processor!
There is something very wrong with the fact that, without any previous video editing experience I could learn iMovie in a day or so, yet with 15 years (or more) of word processing experience I am still struggling with Pages after a week... :confused:

Kudos to Microsoft for continuing to support Office 2004 (released in 2003) for 7 years after it was released. That's a pretty long time of support. Apparently it will continue until January.

I bought two white iPhone 4's on launch day to replace two black iPhone 4's. Both of the white ones are definitely thicker than the black ones.

Well, I fell for it and bought this baby. It feels pretty nice, it's not my first XO per se (I had one borrowed for 6 months before from a friend) but it's nice to finally have my own and I can start buying a bigger game library.
I'll make it a habit to install games now since it has a big enough hard drive, and it makes a lot less noise when no disc is spinning. It's totally not "whisper-quiet" like they claimed in E3 but it's noticeably quieter than the older one. The fan speed rises periodically the longer you have it turned on, after 2-3 hours of gaming it sounded much closer to the old one. Did you notice the new smaller power brick actually has a fan now? That's what's making most of the sound :/
So far I'm playing RDR and trying to finish some older titles like Oblivion and Fable 2. Got any suggestions? I'm looking at Mass Effect 2.

Yeah, I'm sure millionaire Cowell really cares. Whoever was the poor winner of the X-factor will be used and spat out by him regardless if he gets to no1 or not.
Simon is an interesting character. He seems to have profited greatly off humiliating people on live television and has a unique position of capturing the attention of people on television, but also the airwaves.

My only gripe that in in a normal year you need to sell 170,000-250,000 records to get Christmas number one, the X-factor single has already passed this mark so unfortunately it looks like more people have been buying it to prevent Rage winning. So Cowell wins either way, no such thing as bad publicity.
Incidentally, I'm not savvy with reality TV (I prefer reality) or FaceSpace Books, I heard Zane Lowe play the song about a week ago and thought, what a classic, I haven't heard that for years and went out and downloaded it. I don't agree with the people saying it's not a good song, in 1992 Tom Morello's guitar playing was groundbreaking and the lyrics ideally suit this chart battle.

yeah, my best friend actually has an M11x R2. I love it, but still, at how compact the 11" Air is, I'm surprised it can max out Portal 2 easily.
Just got Portal (1) for free (OEM Alienware Gift or something like that) and it does run well on both my AW and my Air.
If replacement SSD prices dropped, this would replace my alienware as my on-the-go machine.
This thing surprises me to no end. MW2 at 20~30fps is nothing to scoff at, especially since it only has an ULV C2D and an IGP.
Only thing I miss is the bl kb.

I've followed the computer industry for 26+ years.. I remember a time when Apples marketshare was thru the roof. I also remember a company called Commodore that is still the best selling personal computer of all time.
I know a whole lot more people who would be more inclined to buy a Mac if they could run their favorite app, or the latest game under MacOSX.
That sort of thing can only come with market share.
The switch to Intel can go one of two ways.. it could get Macs in peoples hands, who grow to prefer the OSXperience and abandon Windows all together.. or it could end up being an Alienware kind of computer that people buy as a status symbol, but run Windows on it.
Heck, you may start to see software developers abandon their Mac divisions all together.. figuring that since most Intel Mac users have Windows installed, they can just write ONE version of their software and cover all bases.
Growth and increased market share is good for Apple, and good for their customers.
There is a long list of hardware companies that gave up their propriatary designs and archetecture and adopted the 'x86' that you don't hear much of anymore.
What seperates Apple from those companies is their totally rockin' OS.. but an OS is only as good as the software that's available for it.

To be honest, this is a smart move from Microsoft. If there is one thing I cannot stand about Apple, it is the silly prices they charge. The Apple Tax is stupid.

Why do you say 2000 people is not a large enough sample? Do you know statistical sampling methods?
