Has the LC/PERM been approved based on EB2 is the question? IF yes, you should also try for it and ask your employer.

Probably you got to make you aware of science of immigration. Tell the authorities what they ask for (not what you want to tell). These days merger and aquisitions are commonplace and USCIS may be aware of these situations.
Hello all,
My company merged with another one last year just after my I-140 was approved. I'm preparing to file I-485 (doing it myself) and I'm wondering what kind of documents/letters do I need to submit to USCIS to proof that my job wasn't affect by the merger and I'm still working in the same position.
I'd really like to send all required information to USCIS so that I don't have to reply to RFEs later on.
Any examples of letters or list of supporting documents will be appreciated.

Should the rate of demand for numbers be very heavy in the coming months, it could become necessary to retrogress some cut-off dates for September, most likely for China-mainland born and India, but also possibly for Mexico and Philippines.
does it mean the Sept 07 bulleting may have some cut-off dates ?
What it could be for EB3 India ? Not beyond the Jun 03' as published in Jun 07 VB i guess ?

My second 140 may be approved by this month end.. Neb-Nov. 08-filing... i am hoping i will be able to port my PD..to 12-05
Now..in case i lose my job... and since i am in my 9th yr-h1..which expires may-2010..
suppose ..i cant find a job ...and if i have to leave US.....(but my employer agrees not to cancel my 140)
a.) what should i do to retain my GC process?
b.) How do i switch to CP processing....

You need to file I 824 form and let USCSIS know that you want to transfer your case to consulate. If you are from Mumbai consulate area then u can do AC I 140. becasue I 824 can take 1-2 years to transfer your details.
While in AC I 140 you just need receipt of I 824 and attorney certified package. More details you can get on internet. If you PD is near to current then u can initiate this process and thus with in 3-4 months if PD become current you can get visa interview. Generally they dont ask for hard ship reason for AC I 140 but in your case you can explain about your wait time and impact on your career etc..

3. Is there a minimum time limit after joining aftre which only I can apply for extension..? No such limit...I feel it is good to have some pay stubs

My company wants to transfer me to Europe for 2 yrs. Its a very good opportunity for my career. My I140 approved and 485 is pending. PD March 2006 EB2 India. It wont become current for foreseeable future. I am appplying for 3 yrs of H1B extension.
Can I be outside the US for 2 yrs w/o jeopardizing the GC process. Can I then come back after 2 yrs on stamped H1?
My wife used EAD to work. Can I apply her H4 extension with me and she foregoes her EAD? Will she get H4 status and extension along with my H1?
Can she then come back with me after 2 yrs on H4 and then revert back to EAD to work?
I need to make a decision soon. Any replies will be greatly appreciated!
