Today I plugged in my iPod nano. Usually my iPod will appear and start to sync but instead a box appeared and says "iTunes has detected an iPod in recovery mode. You must restore this iPod before it can be used with iTunes"
I clicked on the Restore button and when it is finished, the same box pops up telling me that I need to restore it. I tried several times and nothing is working. I dont know what is going on and i have tried everything.
If anyone knows what to do I will be very thankful !!

A petabyte can be defined as either 1000 terabytes or 1024 terabytes. The same with the other measures. This leads to endless confusion, which began in the days when K meant either 1000 or 1024. For example, if you had $1K of cash in your left pocket and 1K of RAM cache in your right pocket you'd probably have $1000 plus 1024 bytes!
Rough calculations...
If you stored 12 petabytes in Apple's 500,000 square foot North Carolina data center, that's 1.1E15 bytes in 5E5 square feet, or 2.3E9 bytes/sq. ft. In other words they'd have only about 2GB per square foot. They'll need a lot more data to fill up that building.
So let's figure it out. The latest disk drives might hold 4TB in 490,000 cubic mm, or 0.0173 cubic feet, which means you can store 2.4E5 GB per cubic foot. Let's cut that down to 1E5 to leave room for enclosures and cabling. The data center appears to be a one-story building so let's assume the ceilings leave 10 feet of vertical usable space. That gives us 5E6 cubic feet x 1E5 GB per cubic foot, or 5E11 GB. So they have room for 476,837 petabytes!

Taken from my trip to the Dallas Auto show last weekend; Nissan GTR aka Nissan Skyline. I've dreamed of having this car stateside for most of my youth. Now that it's finally here, Nissan guaranteed I will NEVER own one with the $80k price tag. :(
Even if you were able to manage to get one, you would be paying way too much for maintenance and wear and tear replacement parts.
This car is a masterpiece in terms of performance/(initial) price. But, the collateral damage is an excessive expense for parts and maintenance when you wring out as much performance as possible from a street legal sports car with the entry price still attainable for a regular guy.

12 PB = 12,884,901,888 MB. 200 million iTunes accounts (at the iPad 2 event).
Either everybody is getting 64 megabytes, or this is going to be more of a cloud locker for previous iTunes purchases (where the files are exactly the same for each user and don't have to be duplicated).

Uhm, it is already out :) I have had it for over a year.
is that for jailbroken phones? I couldn't find it in the appstore(TM)
update: I found it on a site for downloading android apps. Perhaps you have an android phone?
Anyway looking at that site made me realize that I'm glad I don't have to deal with that. The site I found was amateurish looking and made me think it would be risky to use it in terms of potential viruses. The reviews from downloaders also confirmed what i suspected about apps for multiple platforms. There were many comments about the particular app not working on a particular device (ex - a samsung tablet) but working on another. What a headache it must be to keep those apps functioning with new devices from different manufacturers popping up all the time.

I welcome this feature.
People want a layout with usability, not a design that looks just so. Still, both are easy to achieve if your skilled.
I always surf with my text zoomed at least one level which is available on every browser - this messes up more wabpages than it should. Some of my favorite websites have comment textareas with 3-4 lines of text and are as few as 20 characters wide. I always end up writing in Pages and copying into the textarea.

But that is the problem. Instant messaging has been on phones for over two years. Why would they want to sell a phone on instant messaging if everybody pretty much already has a phone with IM already? There's no reason to buy it if they're going to advertise a feature people already have it on their phones.
And how exactly is IM faster than texting?
just seems to me that people are acting like its a feature that shouldn't be on a phone rather then one that is almost standard. it also just seems that IM's are quicker conversations then texts, but maybe i'm wrong about that cause on phones it's pretty much the same thing.
Yes, especially on the tiny keypad on a phone? At best, the iPhone might have a slid-out keypad, which won't make IM-ing any faster than texting.
yea, but i think that if they do a full tiny keyboard, they will be going for something similar to a sidekick. the sidekick 3 was a major let down.

I sincerely hope so. I can't even login to my company's iNotes site from my Mac because Macs are not supported (only runs with IE 6.00+).
