Which line in port? Are you talking about the (now removed) line-in on the 30 pin connector (not on iPhone 4) or are you talking about the second ring on the TRRS headphone/mic connector?

The line-in port on the iMac, Mac Pro, 15" & 17" MBP's and the Mac Mini.

    Good point.

    Both of which are essential.

Btw Other proposals/suggestions are also welcome, however many or few posts you have :).

    Thank You.

I'm not convinced yours will do this to be honest. Your categories don't seem totally clear to me.

I don't think they can be much clearer. Hardware refers to well, Hardware, Software to um... Software. Hmm, maybe I'm looking at it from the wrong perspective though, why don't you think it's clear?

    Sebastian

Wow... short sighted on the networks part. I'm surprised.... no difference than just having another TV in your house, just on your Tablet. It would be interesting to know more about their motivation behind this... maybe they want to go direct? In other words, maybe Discovery and the other channels want to sell direct subscriptions and not go through channel partners like Time Warner?

If that is the case... I smell disaster for the networks. Who wants to buy individual channels for their computers, iPads or other devices? Not me? It would have to be dirt cheap.

Hummm.... thinking about it... maybe it's not so dumb? If each channel was $.99 and I could pick Ala-carte who I wanted, I know my Cable bill would go from $40 per-month to less than $10. Maybe they are onto something thinking about it?

I have the navigon and Tom Tom apps. I got the garmin too. I have only used it a couple of times but what I can say is, it seems to download the entire map at the beginning of the trip (when you most likely had coverage).
Yesterday I was using it in a place that just started construction and the directions took me on the detour! I like the garmin plus the included free traffic works well.

I've been using the iPhone's Google maps in that way for almost 3 years and I have not once had that be an issue.

I dunno, I guess something bad could happen, but it sure doesn't seem likely to me at this point. And even if it does happen to me soon I'm prepard for "once every 3 years" as a failure rate.

2d vs 3d...pretty different data consumption

This isn't 2004. 1gb total storage for email and idisk is pitiful when Yahoo, Hotmail and Google already offer over 2gb of email space alone, for free.
Sure, but how much "iDisk" space are they offering? ;)

At least they have fixed it so that it properly quotes previous emails in replies!

    Dear Adobe,

START FOCUSING ON CS APPS! Damn... My mac mini g4 works faster converting my raw to jpeg files than my c2d iMac! I know you need to compete with Apple... but focus on your current products that are in need of updating to Universal code for the professionals that rely on them!

    Thanks,

WOW! the evidence youve accumulated is astounding:confused::rolleyes:

    No advertising=more sales:confused:

Want to quote where I said that? Perhaps you and the ready2switch can find a set of words in my comment that actually mean that. I can't. Not even in the parts you quoted.

    What I've said are:

    - Sales would be higher now than six months ago regardless of what advertising Apple did. No advertising, bad advertising, good advertising. The fact is that Apple's PowerPC line was Osbourned. People were waiting for Intel Macs. They weren't about to buy machines Steve Jobs was telling the world were obsolete.

    - Apple's current advertising is bad. It insults its current target audience. If Apple wasn't insulting its target audience, sales would be higher.

It's easy. It's also blatantly obvious.

Why are you pushing your opnions as fact?....

I agree with ready2switch below me

I don't have an opinion on what an opnion is. If you meant "opinion" though, I suggest you avoid any further posting. After all, you wouldn't want to express your opinions would you? Doing so would be "pushing" them as facts, right?

I think Steve would take issue with that statement.

Being a CEO doesn't mean you own the company.

I support veterans and families, they risk their lives and the government screws them over, but I cannot condone the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

Did you vote for Barack Obama? He supports the violence in Afghanistan, he even increased it.

But back on topic. I think it's smart for the military to review the kit they are deploying down to the soldiers on the ground. They should be doing that far more often than they do. But you can't read too much into it. The Army especially requires a lot of kit of the type that Apple currently doesn't sell (PCs in the category of the Panasonic Toughbooks for example).

Sounds like a bunch of services your family doctor or gynecologist would be capable of performing.

As for sex education, again, NOT THE JOB OF THE GOVERNMENT.

I am sorry I don't agree with the government giving these services as free hand outs to people who don't have health insurance or can't foot the bill.

Sorry I am not a fan of paying for other people's social services.

    Actually, I am not sorry.

If that's your ideology, you're selling yourself short by focusing just on Planned Parenthood. Don't forget about medicaid, social security, public education, and disability. In the name of not wanting to pay for other peoples' social services, might as well kill those too

As a proponent of the capitalism and free markets, I buy superior products at the best bargain possible with no significant concern as to where it was built. My first car as a teenager was a hand-me-down Buick, the first one I bought with my own money was a Toyota, and today I drive a Honda. In the free market, the superior business deserves to win, consumers vote with their wallets. Maybe if people who buy cars only for the name and because it was (or is perceived) to be built in America would have stopped this insanity 30 years ago, we'd have American car companies more able to compete today. Instead, we've coddled them, allowed them to produce often inferior products while subsidizing the overpaid unions. We've given up on common sense for the sake of irrational pride.

That being said, I will say that there are many great American automobiles. Anyone who says there aren't any, doesn't know what they're talking about... especially in the large-truck division, American technology still rules supreme.
