I have received the following RFE.
Please submit the oldest available evidence which establishes your birth and parentage. This evidence may include, but is not limited to:
a. Hospital birth records which name the child and both parents.
b. Medical records which name the child and both parents.
c. School records which name the child and both parents.
d. Census records which name the child and both parents.
e. Religious records in the form of a certificate under the seal of the organization where the baptism, dedication, presentation or comparable rite occurred following the birth, showing the date and place of the child�s birth, the date of the religious ceremony, and the names of the child�s parents.
I have submitted Date of Birth Certificate at the time of applying 485 which is dated in 2002.
Ans:
I am planning to submit notarized affidavits from my father and mother.
SSC (10TH Certificate/Memo)
Are these enough? What are the other options ? Please let me know your valuable thoughts..

NetIP Bay Area has FINALLY put our link on their webpage
See http://www.netip-sfba.org/ They haven't capitalized the v in Voice etc, but it is a step in the right direction.
We are also participating in a seminar organized by them. The speakers will be an immigration attorney and IV representatives.

I heard that it is pretty easy there. 2 years back One of my friend got 10 year multiple entry visa from singapore. He has told me that there was no queue in american consulate in Singapore.

It is possible to "interfile" in this situation, (See AFM Sec. 23.2(l) Transferring an Adjustment of Status Application from One Underlying Eligibility Basis to Another).
However, I do not think you can successfully interfile until your wife's 2010 PD is current. ( See AFM Sec. 23.2(l)(2)(L) The Priority Date must Be Current for the Basis to Which the Applicant Wishes to Convert).

You need to bring more clarity in your questions. Has your GC been approved and you are waiting for it to arrive in mail? or it is still pending approval. You do not need any visa to leave US. You will need it to get back in.

Hello ALL,
My spouse and myself are called for 485 initial interview, have couple of questions.
1) Do I need to take Affidavit of Support docs(form I 864), my 485 is employment based and not family based(I am the primary applicant)
2)Do I need to take Original I 140 and Original Labor approved doc
also please let me now if some one have been to such interviews and if there are any suggestion?

Thanks for the quick response.
I couldnt find the form on the uscis website, which generally lists supplemental forms next to the main ones. Couldnt even find a link to this, so wasnt sure if my doc was doing the right thing or following some old procedure.
One more question : I-693 has 4 copies (one for uscis, one for self, one for doc etc). Does it matter which copy goes to uscis (since they are basically the same, except for the text in the bottom which denotes the copy).
Because I think my doc put his copy in the sealed envelope, and gave me a photocopy of that.
Should I go back and have him redo the form (he has bad handwriting too, like most doctors)?

Hi,
to stay away from india while on AOS, you need AP.
to maintain AOS, one needs to keep renewing AP.
So when you apply/renew AP candidate needs to be here...
So your daughter will apply for AP, get it , travel... come back 6 months prior to AP expiry, go to india and study and you will send AP by mail ...
she will come here every 4-6 months prior to AP expiry and renew and go back.
You need to give a sound reason in port of entry why you are staying away for long durations..!
