MSNBC had a news piece on surprise illegal immigrants and looks like they are from India. I was surprised at a shocking 125,000 people have over stayed their visas and have become Illegal. I was worried if such news articles will reflect on our integrity and our image as knowledge workers.
Just a thought....
While we can keep an eye on these articles - these are coming up to counter our efforts.
Lets keep the focus on.
I would only say - IV is for legal immigrants, for those who have maintained legal status and have played by the rules.

these rallies are usually organized by Undocumented workers. Folks at immigrationvoice strongly believe that people should not highlight any events related to undocument workers on this site...Hence reds for you...

The title is misleading - can be interpreted as "You are leaving your job and wife because you got an RFE and you want to know if there is any problem?"
I know, I saw it now and had a good laugh. Its just the job. I would have many more problems, besides GC, to consider if I were leaving her !!:)
I wanted to find out if my wife's application could get into trouble because I left my employer who filed my GC application. Ideally, her case is dependent on mine and not directly to my employer, so I am thinking it should be fine. But wanted to get some expert opinions.

If you are planning to send it through an attorney, dont forget to send the new G-28.
Also, once u have sent it, i will suggest taking an infopass appointment after a month or so and making sure that the new lawyer information has been updated.

If you don't get your Cards in a reasonable timeframe, I suggest you take an appointment with your local USCIS office using infopass, and take a copy of this ruling to show them. I expect them to act promptly after seeing that you are considering suing them for the delay.

Hello Attorneys/ known guys, ( first of all sorry for reposting new thread , i ddidnt get anyanswers but ead and ap expire time is coming soon )
How are you doing ? i am new to here. i will fill all details soon. sorry for that.
Before i stayed in place "X " which comes under nebrasaka centre, applied for 485, ead and ap. my company also in " X " only.
Right now i am in place " Y " which comes under Texas centre ( because of my job i moved recently) . Now i want to renew my ead and ap my self . my job, payroll and living is in place " Y " only.
But my pemanent address is " X " only. I want to continue that for my full GC process.
what my question is what i have to mention the address for my ead and ap renewal ?
1) is it "X " address as it is my permanent address and applied my 485 also from there and wish to continue or my "Y " address as i am working , living and payroll are here ?
2) If i mention " X " address is there any problem ? , dont think wrongly as i really dont know
3) if i put " Y " address is my case ead and ap along with 485 will move to Texas centre ?
i really want to avoid it if chances are there in good way as my case before everything in Nebrasca centre compared to Texas centre procesing time is good

I have my contract which mentions start date of 25th october 2010 but my H1B petition is still pending and that is the reason once my petition is approved and if I go for visa interview after 25th october would that affect my ability to get visa. My employer is ok with me starting 1-2 weeks late. My petition is H1B cap exempt.

I have got exactly the same RFE.....i am going to send the same documents and hoping that this is enough. There was one question that was bothering me on my i485RFE. It started like this...............
Your FORM I485 Application Must be accompanied with two colored Photographs.................
I am confused if they mean that i should re submit the i485 application or just the letter taht came with it.
i also never got any colored sheet as i have heard most of the people got. Is this normal practise or something i should be conserned about

Good thing is after 6 months of EAD ,change the jobs. So the new additional income added to your pot can be used to pay INS if there are any annual renewals till you get the GC.
INS will have atleast 200-300K 485 Applicaitons from Indians and equivalent from chinese, Mexico by July 31'st.
So INS will have a good beer party with Billions of Dollars and fixed royalty income from renewals from the potbellys of Indians, chinese,mexicans. This is a ballgame in no mans land.
Some one in INS did a good math to have good money. With these money, if the new bill et al is passed, can be used to build next gen systems.
Good Luck to everybody including me. I am also in the same race to get GC but i am far distant.

since u already have a d100 no point of buying another one.. i'd say u shud go wit a D70.. its prices are dropping and hey its quality is not bad nad your lenses will fit perfeclty fine ^.^
